Original flint and not a reconversion. Very good plus with excellent metal with very crisp edges and nice soft grey patina. Excellent and profuse French Ordnance proofs. Lock stamped in script “ST. ETIENNE/MANUFRE ROYALE”. Barrel tang faintly stamped “M1816”. Stock fine plus with inspection stamps on side of butt and at the heal in front of the butt plate tang.
